Statement
My work is a serendipitous site of inquest into human nature. My interest and background is strongly rooted in hyper-realism and working with different mediums is an aid to refine, deepen and develop the meaning behind my work.
For me art is born from a continuous flux between making and thinking, a study born from the process of expression as a means of divulging a piece of human nature. On the one hand, my projects are sometimes triggered by a question that solidifies in my mind as a distillation of chance encounters and happy accidents that I welcome my way. On the other hand, the actual creative process often uncovers questions of human nature that collide with my everyday experiences. Through my work I try to incorporate this flux by retaining a sense of movement and communication between the act of thinking and creating.
